Summary: A misfit girl with telekinetic powers wreaks havoc at her high school prom after getting a bucket of pig blood dumped on her in front of the whole student body. 

Personal thoughts: I very much sympathized with Carrie. Like her, I was also scared when I got my first period and I was also bullied by students in high school. Do I blame her for wreaking havoc at her prom? No I do not. There's no way a person would be able to get over having pig blood dumped on them during their high school days....or any day, for that matter. Those students had it coming for all the times they made fun of her, threw objects at her, and even dumping blood on her as a joke! 
Revenge truly is a dish best served cold!
